Nathan hydration packs are made for trail running, marathons and technical hikes. With long runs in mind, our running backpacks provide easy access to hydration. We advise hydration packs with bigger water bladders for the longest runs.
If you are planning to run 2-3 hours, we recommend a vest with 2–4-liter capacity. Running up to 6 hours will require a vest with a capacity of 4-12 liters. If you are running more than 6 hours, we recommend a hydration pack with at least 6 liters of hydration capacity. Our water bladders are designed to prevent bouncing, even our biggest bladders will make running with water on your back feel great. Additional hydration bladders for your hydration pack can be found in replacement parts. For technical hikes we advise our most versatile hydration backpack, the Trail Mix 12 L
All our running backpacks not only offer sufficient space for a hydration bladder, but they also provide easy access front pockets for added space where you can store additional liquids and nutrition bars for your long runs.
